@CelesteMaloyUT I see that the calls to cancel Sharon have worked. So disappointing. Sharon’s mission is to help people understand government, and she simply asked people to consider why some people might find some of the things Charlie said offensive, but she was distraught over his passing

@RepBurgessOwens @BurgessOwens What I saw was never on her public page, it was in her private book club group. I don’t monitor what she posts and deletes on her main page. I am certain her grief over his passing was real, but obviously you people who know her less well can pass different judgement

@RepBurgessOwens @BurgessOwens I disagree. I watched Sharon cry on the day of his death, she was distressed by it. She may not agree with a lot of his political takes, but she has said multiple times that his murder was an atrocity. Freedom of speech goes all ways, and Charlie would have stood for that
