In celebration of the forthcoming #WorldPulsesDay, the @FAO held a discussion titled "Pulses: Nourishing Soils and People" on 8 Feb 2024.

Dr Damaris @odeny, Cluster Leader – Genomics, Pre-breeding & Bioinformatics, #ICRISAT delivered a presentation on the pivotal role of pigeonpea as an optimal pulse for the nutrient-starved soils of Africa. She also briefed on ICRISAT's efforts towards conserving germplasm and breeding superior pigeonpea varieties.
