When we first had the idea for @BitrigApp in late 2024, conventional wisdom was that LLMs would mean the end of all but the most popular programming languages, like TypeScript and Python.

As someone who devoted over a decade to programming language and API design, I’m glad to see signs of things moving in the opposite direction. There are too many good ideas left to explore for programming to settle into a monoculture.
