@nathanacurtis @figma Why still use the slot paradigm though? Why not just ask for the ability to insert new layers in between existing layers of a component instance? Think of the “slot” as the imaginary space between the auto layout layers of the component.

@DannPetty It’s not cooler; it’s more efficient. The letter x communicates twice as many characters of the word “experience” than the letter e.

If there were a letter that sounded like “use”, we’d be using that instead of the letter u.
