@Anc_Aesthetics This is fantastic. Just to add on to this, they also switch to B1/B2 visa after they lose their jobs, and will continue to stay in the US until they find another job, and then switch back to H1B. These loopholes need to be plugged, but as usual @USDOL and @USCISJoe do not care
@USDOL Just stop H1B entirely. Look at the number of layoffs in Tech. Why should foreigners be hired while Americans are being fired? The globalist agenda must be nipped!
...And the fact that Indian consultancies don't hire Chinese nor Somalians, hence India keeps getting an inordinate percentage of H1B visas. Which increases your backlog. You guys created that problem for yourselves. No sympathy from US
All the genius who are commenting as to why the Indians decided to have their roots there, why they bought a house, why are the children studying there etc, they don't understand the basics
H1B is a DUAL INTENT Visa.
The Dual intent is the intent to get a GC eventually
(Hence you are able to file for AOS concurrently ( Adjustment of Status/ I485) when you file your 526 during your EB5)
This whole H1B nightmare is for Indians only, any other nationality say a Somalian H1B will get GC through EB2/EB3 within 2-3 years ( much earlier than even EB5) because we have the archaic country caps (7% cap for Indians in EB2/EB3)
So stop your nonsense about pack up your bags or change the damn rules
This leaked video exposes exactly how the Indian H1B/OPT tech cartels (ITServe Alliance) are writing our immigration rules.
"We met Senator ***** and he wrote a letter to the USCIS Director."
Globalism has destroyed the lives of so many American Workers.
The steelworkers laid off after their factories were offshored.
The tech workers fired because their companies illegally prioritized foreign labor.
The college graduates robbed of their opportunity to gain employment and secure the American Dream.
It’s going to take time to fix this damage, but, with @POTUS at the helm, we’re making progress and working around the clock to put AMERICANS FIRST.
@JobsNowPaper Spending half of their income in India. Imagine that! This whole H1B system needs to go. These people don't care about our country. Their allegiance is to India first.
@JobsNowPaper Such attitude towards your host country is disgusting. You spew this garbage about the president and then turn around to cry "Indian hatred". You should be thankful America welcomed you, and lifted you up from that hellhole, but you rather show disdain. Ungrateful bunch.
@deedydas H1B is just an Indian visa at this point. Even when they are fired, they switch to other visa types like the B1/B2 instead going back home.
H1B needs to go.
@USDOL@POTUS We can't sacrifice the dreams of the future generation. College grad unemployment is through the roof. Time to suspend or shut down the H1B. We can't keep importing foreign labor while our own kids cannot find jobs. We need to secure our own future first!
@RenuMukherjee1@CityJournal You import your nepotism into America and we hate it. You displace our graduates from high paying jobs through H1B abuse and other visa loopholes. That is disgusting. The gig is up!
Marco Rubio:
“Yeah. Let’s start with the baseline. No one is entitled to a student visa to enter the United States. No one. It’s not a constitutional right. It’s not guaranteed by law. Every day, consular officers deny visas for all kinds of reasons, suspicion of overstaying, criminal associations, whatever it may be. Visas are denied worldwide daily. No one is entitled to one.
There’s a misconception that you’re automatically allowed a visa unless we find a reason to deny it. That’s not true. The burden of proof is the other way around.
Now, if someone applies for a student visa and during the interview it becomes clear they support Hamas as a positive group, we probably wouldn’t let them in — and we shouldn’t. But if that question isn’t asked, and they enter the U.S., and later it becomes obvious they support Hamas, then their visa should be revoked. If we later discover information that would have led to denial in the first place, that’s grounds for revocation.
It’s not in the national interest, or our foreign policy or national security interest, to bring people onto our campuses who aren’t just studying but are also promoting or excusing terrorist organizations committed to violence and destruction.
So we have the right to deny visas before entry and revoke them after entry if someone’s presence undermines our national security or interests. That’s exactly what we intend to do.”
@USDOL@POTUS Does this include white color jobs? Seeing as college graduates are struggling to find jobs, you should look at H1B abuse and the disgusting nepotistic hiring practices by Indian managers
@SpeakSamuel If you are in Tech in the Valley you'd know that 280k is not for "special talent". In fact, quite low. I wish more people understood this. I know many Americans who could do most of these jobs, but are overlooked by Indian hiring managers. And that is the truth.
Bet you didn't know this ..
H-1B fees were supposed to train American workers so the country wouldn’t be dependent on foreign labor forever.
Instead, that promise gets buried. The money is routed through agencies, diluted into broad “workforce programs,” spent on administration, or never reaches the workers it was meant to upskill. Meanwhile, companies still use H-1Bs to replace or undercut Americans.
But the outcome is the opposite it actual undermines Americans as much of it is used to extend the program!
@grok knows too...
@USDOL@POTUS Look at all the loopholes in our visa system. When an H1B gets laid off they switch to B1/B2 visa, and continue to apply for jobs until they find one, usually with consulting firms.
You need to tighten the rules on this change of status process as well.
🚨 America will NOT tolerate those who fund & fuel radical terrorism.
Today, President Trump took decisive action to secure America from terrorist threats by initiating the process to designate certain Muslim Brotherhood entities as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
