The matter will be verified by the concerned ERO. As per the Election Commission of India’s instructions, no elector’s name is deleted solely for being unmapped. Any deletion can be made only after due process, including proper service of notice and an opportunity of hearing. If any procedural lapse is found, appropriate corrective action will be taken after inquiry.
If you applied Form 8 online, you can check its status using your reference number in the ECINET app or on the Voter Services Portal. Once the application is approved and processed by the ERO, the corrected details will be reflected in your voter record. A new EPIC will be delivered to your registered address by post, and you can also download your e-EPIC once it becomes available.
