@manas_muduli More:
Acharya Harihar Post Graduate Institute of Cancer, Cuttack, https://t.co/9d3DAmX68H
ESI Medical College, Andharua, Bhubaneswar (announced)
Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jatni is being established in collaboration with NISER. https://t.co/AaJKFoXbWv
@manas_muduli Great compilation. Some additions:
IMS and SUM have two medical college campuses ( original one + one in Phulnakhara) in the capital area. Both are listed separately in https://t.co/Hy755BQsfH
DRIEMS medical college, Tangi, CTC
Sri Jagannath Medical College & Hospital, Puri
@DDNewsOdia@CMO_Odisha@SecyChief@PrithivirajBJP This will definitely help traffic in that road. But, this road is not an NH; so there should be appropriate arrangements at multiple places for pedestrians to cross the road easily.
@manas_muduli I am not sure you realize that this is a land grab and that is what is happenning. Most of these factories do not need to be next to Bhubaneswar. The land they are in are much more valuable (and would become even more valuable) than their investment.
@CRUT_BBSR Some small loops would help people and reduce traffic: Example 1: KIIT Sq, KIIT, KIMS, Silicon, Infocity Sq, CIPET, Patia Sq, Kanan Vihar, KIIT Sq. and a reverse one. Example 2; BBS Station, Master canteen, IG park, AG sq, Unit 1 market, Raj Mahal sq, BBS station and Reverse.
@MohanMOdisha@PrithivirajBJP, By seamless connection I mean one should be able to go from BPIA, BBS & CTC stations, BBSN station, Bus stands at BBS and CTC, etc. to their metro station with a small walk under the same roof. This was lacking in the earlier plan.
@MohanMOdisha@PrithivirajBJP, on the metro, having canceled the earlier plan, kindly move fast on the CMP & as part of it have metro in CTC-BBS seamlessly connecting its imp places including the transit hubs (BPIA, BBS and CTC station, BBSN station, Bus stands at BBS and CTC).

@IPR_Odisha@MohanMOdisha@PrithivirajBJP Having canceled the earlier plan, kindly move fast on the CMP and as part of it have a metro in CTC-BBS seamlessly connecting its important places including the transit hubs (BPIA, BBS and CTC station, BBSN station, Bus stands at BBS and CTC).
@manas_muduli https://t.co/slzoLTD2Ru Mexico City's Elevated bus corridor is an interesting idea and can be combined with any elevated roads being made in Bhubaneswar.
@manas_muduli I visited it 3 months back. There were a lot of shopping rooms/stalls, but only 4-5 operating. Perhaps because of the nice Aahar kendra other food joints are hesitating to come. Kind of a dilemma.
@manas_muduli One should point them to lists of largest cities of the world. Cuttack used to be among the top 15 largest cities of the world around 1500 AD. See https://t.co/Hc1Dj9xDXn and https://t.co/USNsA4z3py
Now that Metro is being redesigned, BBS metro should connect to other transportation hubs in the region in a seamless manner. This includes, Airport, Rail stations (BBS, BBSN, CTC), and Bus stations (Baramunda, and Netaji) in the first phase. @CMO_Odisha@SecyChief
Sealdah railway station has direct subway to Sealdah metro station. Similarly Bhubaneswar railway station should have direct approach to Bhubaneswar Station Metro station. Similarly direct access from BPIA airport to Airport metro station.

Good to have this in Odisha. But why in Khorda. The government must be careful of granting large land tracts near the capital to industries that could be 100 kms away. Many companies are setting up plants in Khordha, but their real intention is land grab.

Good to have them in Odisha, but is there any specific reason they have to be in areas where land is expensive and keeps rising. They could be 100kms away from the capital. Many worry that the main goal of some of these indsutries may be land grab at cheap prices.
