Our apology for the action we took against doctors who were cautioned or convicted under repealed homophobic laws wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless efforts of our LGBTQ+ staff network.
In this blog, network members explain how they brought these past injustices to light, and they share their feelings when they found out more about these shocking cases: https://t.co/9DEhC0zqyn
Our network provides support and community for our LGBTQ+ staff. They also push for change within the organisation that can benefit all LGBTQ+ people.
BMA consultant members in England have voted 51% against the offer in the pay referendum.

A seasonal concept for improvement: the Christmas tree effect. This is where we keep adding new features as part of our improvement approach (like ornaments on a tree). We can end up hurting the overall system, even if each individual new feature is a positive. We humans are hardwired to add things to solve problems. We often overlook better solutions that involve taking things away. We need to give subtraction a more central role in our improvement efforts says @DavidEpstein: https://t.co/JJ9snbv5tK.
