This morning at my Kisozi Farm, I received Mr. Floribert Anzuluni Isiloketshi, the Special Envoy of the Democratic Republic of Congo. We discussed matters of mutual interest, particularly the security situation in eastern DRC. Peace and stability in our region remain essential for the prosperity of our people, and we shall continue working together with our regional partners to address the challenges facing eastern Congo.
Today at my Kisozi Farm in Gomba District, I met H.E. Mehmet Fatih Ak, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Uganda. We discussed issues of mutual interest for the benefit of our peoples.
A strong army depends on a strong economy. We shall continue building Uganda through wealth creation, industrialisation and stronger defence capabilities. I also congratulated the CDF, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, and the UPDF leadership for improving soldiers’ welfare. As we prepare for the LCI and Women Council elections, I urge wananchi to elect leaders of integrity who will fight corruption and serve the people.
Today, I passed out 11,947 UPDF recruits, including 1,002 from the Central African Republic (CAR), at Kaweweta. I congratulated them and reminded them that discipline, integrity, good health and rigorous training are the foundation of a capable army. In this Kisanja of No more Sleep, we must continue working hard.

This morning at Kisozi Farm, I bid farewell to H.E. Frederieke Quispel, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Uganda, who has concluded her tour of duty.
I thanked her for her contribution to strengthening Uganda-Netherlands relations, particularly the shift from traditional aid to trade and investment. I also encouraged her to continue mobilising more investors from the Netherlands and the European Union to take advantage of Uganda’s many opportunities.
I wish her good luck & God’s blessings in her future endeavours.
