Has anyone else had problems with the 1ml exchange packs? I have encountered several packs where the filters are very weird and suck everything up and the pins are blocked/malfunctioning

@MelissaRice_1 He has a very valid point. The language we use when talking about addiction is overwhelmingly negative in tone and meaning. Breaking down the stigma around addiction starts with changing the vocabulary we use when talking about people who use drugs #stopcallingmejunkie

@MLLanzillotta1 This is a disgrace! I have been treated badly by ER staff many times, dismissing my pain from a broken back, not believing me when I said I hadn't used drugs/alcohol, but to have someone discredit you when trying to report something as serious as sexual assault is unacceptable

@SteviePatt68 2. Surely during lockdown there would have been a large increase in people trying to access OST services? Unless people had no way to access services and get their name on the list??

Received responses from the Belfast Trust about OST waiting times. Currently the average waiting time is 16 weeks. The current longest wait is 31 weeks!! And there are currently 70 people waiting for treatment. This seems unacceptable, people are literally #dyingfortreatment

@SteviePatt68 1. I was thinking that myself. I would say the wait times are anywhere between 16 and 32 weeks, which is unacceptable. They also said at no point did they stop adding people to the list which again doesn't add up as it's only 70 people.

We have put a number of freedom of information requests into the Belfast Trust to find out how long waiting times for methadone maintenance are and also whether during lockdown they were actually not taking any new patients on to the waiting list #dyingfortreatment
