Women are the backbone of our communities. When we empower them, we uplift the entire society. In the 2025/2026 financial year, we have allocated KSh 255 million to Social Services, Sports, Youth, and Gender initiatives, with a significant portion dedicated to women. Through strong collaboration with fellow leaders, we are also scaling up support for women groups in all the twelve constituencies of Kakamega County.
Graced the Likuyani Women Empowerment Program, hosted by MP Hon. @InnocentMugabe, where we raised funds to support 110 women groups. The event brought together key national leaders, including Chief Guest National Assembly Speaker @HonWetangula, the President’s aide Farouk Kibet, Senate Majority Leader Hon. @Aaroncheruiyot, MPs and MCAs.
