We had a meeting with William Magwood, Director-General of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA).

The main topic of our talks was Ukraine’s further integration into the international nuclear community and the deepening of cooperation with the NEA. Ukraine aims to become a full member of the Agency and join its Data Bank. We have already submitted the application.

I thank Mr. Magwood for supporting this initiative. Joining the NEA will provide our specialists with access to the Agency’s specialized software, scientific databases, research findings, and expert insights.

Nuclear power will form the foundation of Ukraine’s new energy architecture, so we are keen to develop new nuclear capacities and exchange expertise.

We are grateful to the @OECD_NEA for years of fruitful cooperation and for its readiness to continue supporting Ukraine and deepening our partnership.

Обговорили подальшу інтеграцію України до міжнародної ядерної спільноти та поглиблення співпраці з NEA. Україна прагне стати повноправним членом Агентства та приєднатися до його Банку даних. Ми вже подали відповідну заявку.
