Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
Fan takes a missed kick… straight to the head 🤯🏈
After taking one for the team, we had to make it right.
We tracked him down and made sure he left with a game ball he definitely earned.
Glad you’re alright👏 @espn#nottop10#top10

@mikeledo@TheSCIF There is no certainty about the shroud one way or the other, but the results of the 1988 tests have been called into question by more recent testing: X-ray Dating of a Turin Shroud’s Linen Sample https://t.co/GHM0e5nBCF
@Beachway13X@TheSCIF A more recent (2022) test suggests the shroud is roughly 2000 years old: X-ray Dating of a Turin Shroud’s Linen Sample https://t.co/GHM0e5nBCF
@bigdonkey47 Great win for MO St, exciting finish, but some of us appreciate good pitching, which is not typically a staple of mid-week games, definitely not this one.
@Askwhyisit <<Jesus is incapable of entering the minds of unbelievers.>> Don't believe if you want, but, eeesh, that's such a misinformed statement. It takes 30 seconds of googling to come up with many examples, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
@Christynwoody@veilandkeys@BibleInContext1 I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the many Eucharistic miracles that have taken placethat have shown the consecrated bread to be living tissue showing cardiac muscle under stress.
@NickeyScifres@churchtalkative 1 of the better Catholic priests I know personally was divorced before becoming a priest. Same for Fr. Dan Reehil, who I have learned a lot from.
