visitors watch the best road trip ever (one you can leave anytime 😅) and you can bid for billboards along the highway

A user pointed out a bug about an hour ago where the F1 car would slow down too fast and sometimes run through cars 😬
Just pushed an update to fix it! Watch the car downshift, hop into the fast lane, and slam on the brakes:
@harisahmad59 I was super late to the party & liked the concept but didn’t want to create a generic bidding site, so I made an endless road trip site where advertisers bid on billboards rolling by! https://t.co/dHSPUKHFrl
I’ve always loved having a YouTube channel in the background of my work - for a long time it was lofi beat stations with some static movement, lately it’s been whatever live stream I can find of something in the real world
Just built my new replacement - a website that shows a car on an endless road trip. Put it on an extra screen and watch the miles go by; check it out at https://t.co/9SbbEapSjV
@anupamrjp The most recent is an outbid lol competitor - infinite road trip spectator where advertisers bid for billboard space
have had a lot of fun chilling with it in the background all day
screenshot attached! https://t.co/dHSPUKHFrl
@prasenx https://t.co/dHSPUKHFrl - never ending road trip! Advertisers bid for billboards, blimps, and prop planes with signs, for everyone else it’s free forever
Just pushed up an infinite scrolling highway https://t.co/dHSPUKHFrl! There are 5 different cars (cyberpunk pickup to racecar to minivan)
Haven’t turned it off my additional monitor since I made it live 😂
https://t.co/9SbbEapSjV - if you love the feeling of being on a road trip, put this up in a tab on another monitor and watch the scenery pass by
screenshots are from desktop but looks pretty good on mobile too. Literally just pushed live lmk if you have any ideas or encounter any bugs!
This is a great example of why people don’t trust anthropic.
Over the several years, Anthropic has benefitted from training its models on a myriad of information, including en-masse from the scraping the internet and destroying physical rare books to utilize a copyright loophole, only to turn around and mark themselves as the “author” of the tokens they output.
I’m echoing the sentiment of lots of smart people I’ve heard talk about this, but I spend a lot of time thinking about the instructions I give Claude. I don’t one-shot the apps I build, the articles I write, or anything else I use AI to create. That definitionally makes me the author of that work.
It’s strange and dystopian to credit Claude as the author, if I’m the one doing the thinking, and Claude is helping me refine the thoughts. That’s the exact opposite of the nature that human-in-the-loop systems should exhibit.
A year ago, I used anthropic products for everything. Today, maybe 20% of my work. And trending downward.
We’ve written an FAQ to answer some of the questions we've received about watermarking.
In summary:
• We’re implementing watermarking to comply with the EU AI Act. Other major model developers have signed the same Code of Practice and will also be implementing watermarking;
• Our watermarking method doesn’t have any practical impact on the quality or content of Claude’s outputs;
• The difference between watermarked and un-watermarked text will not be distinguishable to readers;
• Nothing is added to the text and there are no hidden characters;
• Watermarking doesn’t require extra tokens, and will not be more expensive;
• Watermarks can’t be traced to a specific person, organization, or chat.
