The Friends Of Beacon Rise are a collection of volunteers who organise events, in order to raise funds for Beacon Rise Primary School in Bristol.

We know we ask for a lot of your time around Fayre season, but it is because we truly couldn't run these events without you. Without your generosity, FBR could not host our events and without those events we would not be able to make such amazing donations to the school.

The current stalls in need of volunteers at the fayre include BBQ, Ice Cream, Sweets & Lucky Lolly... we would be so grateful to anyone who might be able to spare some time to help these stalls out. It would be a shame to lose them from the fayre due to not having enough cover.

5C will be hosting the Sweet Stall at this years Christmas Fayre on Nov 29th, but are struggling to find help from 5.45 onwards. If you have a little free time that evening & would like to help us raise money for the school, please consider helping fill one of their time slots!

Make sure you check your kid's bags this evening, as the Christmas Fayre raffle tickets have started making their way home.

Tickets are £1 each and there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

If you need more tickets, extra books are available from the school office.

We're still in need of help on the BBQ and Ice Cream stalls at the Christmas Fayre. If you're free between 3.15 and 6.30 on then 29th, fancy helping out, and have half hour to spare, please let us know!

We're looking for donations of small toys, sweets and party bag fillers for this years fayre. If you have any you'd like to pass on, please hand them in to the office! Thanks!

Any home baked items will be entered into the Bake Off, with prizes for at least 4 lucky winners! Please make sure you label your donations with your child's name and class!

We'll be having a cake stall at the Christmas Fayre and would be grateful for donations of cakes, cookies & baked goods....they can be home made or store bought, whichever you fancy, but please ensure they are nut free!
