24.09.2022 We held a teenage boys mentorship program at FOLKS, we engaged boys through a community-based approach in order to challenge and change the social norms and attitudes that cause and extend violence.

Involving boys in fighting GBV will have a lasting effect. It is usually boys and men who inflict violence on girls and women, so any effort to abolish GBV without their engagement will not be successful.

22.09.2022 Our girls' team had their first tournament since we formed the team a week ago. The performance was brilliant despite the fact that they had no uniforms and hadn't practiced enough. They drew one match and scored the second round. #girlsfootball #team #players #goal

Our girls had an opportunity to participate in the launch of a tuff field at Kibera Girls Soccer Academy. This was the first time to encounter such field and hence giving them a world class experience within the slums of Kibera.
