One of 3 Grey Plovers on site today. Also 7 Whimbrel, Bar-tailed Godwit, 3 Dunlin, 2 Ringed Plovers, Marsh Harrier & Black Tern. Definitely worth 9.5 hours and a good soaking!

A very sad loss. This much loved lizard habitat on Pocket Park is now sterile and full of non-native bedding plants (destroyed, just to look nice, for a three day music festival). It will take years for the lizards to return (if they return at all).

Can I please ask why campaigning against 1) the illegal killing of raptors 2) illegal fox hunting 3) pesticides which are human carcinogens 4) poor animal husbandry and 5) a scientifically invalid badger cull makes me an ‘enemy’ of the countryside ? Just plain weird .
