“I’m saving you some face by not repeating it.” he mumbled, burying his empty hand into his pocket. Averting his gaze to purposely hide his blush, he cussed inwardly. “Get up.”

Colour bloomed on his cheeks, but he fought to keep his voice as casual as possible. “Ah, nothing important——certainly not something I should repeat.”
