LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF GOD…
I am not writing this to convince anyone or persuade anyone. No. Never.
I am just amazed and absolutely Confounded that Anyone praying for Revival in the End Time would stand against this Viral Song:
“I have decided to follow Jesus,
No Turning Back”
It is true some people may have issues with the fashion appearance of Gaise Baba who invited Lawrence Oyor to sing with him. It is true that the appearance may contradict some fundamental ethics, but is there a limit to who the Lord could use to showcase His glory?
He said if some people kept quiet, He would raise Stone to praise Him instead.
When Ballam could not align with rhe plan of God, God communicated theoufh a Donkey to get to him.
Is there a limited to who the Lord could use to proclaim His Glory?
Do we all remember the incidence that happened to Jesus in the Pharisee’s house when He was invited there? (Luke 7:36-50)
A woman, a notable Sinner in rhe city came to that house with the best gift she had to offer to Jesus, An Alabaster Box of Ointment, Very Costly, roughly estimated to cost 300 denarie ( almost a year wage of common workers)
She came and broke the Oil and poured it on Jesus and wiped His feet with it. And the Pharisee protested against this. Some of The Disciples also reacted against this. But Jesus defended the woman. And Jesus told the Woman:
“Luke 7:48,50 NKJV
[48] Then He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
[50] Then He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."
Two Young Men had brought this great Music to glorify the Lord and the Lord had breathed on it and made it global, and it had penetrated every Corner of the world. People, children, Elderlies and Youths are dancing everywhere shouting: “JESUS! JESUS! I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS!”
Yet the Devil has raised up an OPPOSITION against the JESUS SONG that has broken all Charts in Nigeria and Having one of the highest Streams in the World.
Gladly the UNBELIEVERS accept this Song and Confessing to it in the market place and EVEN IN THE CLUB HOUSE, unknowingly making spiritual Prophetic declaration about Following Jesus and Never turning back.
School Children are singing and dancing to it and indirectly confessing to follow Him and Never to Turn Back.
BUT SADLY, the Missiles of attacks and Oppositions are being shot against the Song and the Young Man who had brought His Alabaster Oil to pour on Jesus Christ.
And Funny enough, Similar to the Biblical incidence, we now have Some of the Attackers from the Pharisees and The Disciples.
Happily, JESUS NEVER SUPPORTED THE PHARISEES AND THE DISCIPLES who attacked the Gift of Alabaster Oil. He forgave the Woman and said her Faith for bringing the Costly ointment to Him and worshipping Him, that Faith has saved her.
FELLOW BELIEVERS, IF GEISE BABA HAD COLLABORATED WITH ONE OF THE YOUNG SECULAR MUSIC STAR TO PRODUCE A VIRAL MUSIC THAT ATTACK THE CHURCH OF GOD AND JESUS CHRIST AND THE MUSIC HAS NOW BROKEN ALL CHARTS,
WOULD WE HAVE BEEN HAPPIER?
WOULD WE HAVE REJOICED?
We are praying for REVIVAL to Bring Souls to the Kingdom of God and we are not Supporting one of the Tools the Lord had chosen in His Wisdom to reach out to the World!
He could use anyone.
He could use Any Tool!
IF YOU ARE AGAINST THE SINNER WOMAN WHO BROUGHT THIS COSTLY ALABASTER OIL TO JESUS, THEN YOU CAN NOT BE SUPPORTED BY JESUS , HE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE. He is on the Side of the Woman who had chosen to cone and Worship Him just as He is.
I am not saying GEISE BABA is Perfect, his Interviews shows he is Still Growing in Christ. I heard that he is being Raised and Discipled in a famous seasoned and God-Fearing Pastor’s Church. YES, HE IS GROWING. They are working on him. WHEN HE GROWS TO CERTAIN LEVEL HE WILL CAST ASIDE SOME CERTAIN BEHAVIORS.
However, Hatred and Bitterness will not allow him grow, ONLY LOVE WILL ALLOW HIM GROW.

🎵 Never Going Back – A Soundtrack for This Generation
So Never Going Back by Gaise Baba and Lawrence Oyor, hit the internet and it went viral, young people love it, but recently, I have been seeing videos of a pastor and some Christians criticizing the song and I can’t stop thinking about the message of the song and the reactions it has sparked amongst us christians .
Here’s the thing: teenagers and young adults today are some of the most difficult people to reach with the gospel. Why? Because they’re constantly being influenced by friends, social media, entertainment, and everything in between. In a world that glamorizes drugs, promiscuity, money-worship, and “love” that fades faster than a Snapchat story, we finally get a song that boldly centers Jesus and personal transformation, that our youths are vibing too and some of us are criticizing it? What is wrong with us?
Let’s take a step back.
The lyrics say: "Ife Jesu lo wa mi ri, to gbami ku o"—“The love of Jesus sought me, found me, and died for me.” That’s the gospel, in Yoruba rhythm and sound! Yet all some people can talk about is Gaise’s hair color, his blinks, the headband on Lawrence’s head and the dance steps in the song. Really?
Someone said, “I go narrow, dem think say I no know road o.” Isn’t that what the Bible teaches? Narrow is the path that leads to life. Didn’t Jesus say He came for the sick, the lost, the sinners? Will every gospel singer be Dunsin and Nathaniel?
Instead of focusing on the outward appearance of the ministers, what if we focused our hearts on praying that:
Out of 4 million streams, at least 400,000 youths would genuinely surrender to Jesus.
Another 400,000 who are still searching would encounter the Holy Spirit and find salvation.
The rest would be stirred to rededicate their lives and stay rooted in Christ.
Wouldn’t that be worth celebrating?
Here’s the truth: whether we like it or not, someone is influencing your children, your teenagers, and your youth group. If they’re not listening to something like Never Going Back, they’ll be listening to something else and let’s be honest, a lot of what’s out there isn’t helping them know Jesus.
When we publicly condemn songs like this, directly or subtly, we shut the door to one of the few tools actually speaking the language of the street with the heart of the cross.
I’m not a pastor, but I know this: Jesus came and died for sinners. None of us regardless of titles, appearances, or backgrounds is better than another, we’ve all simply found favor of God and are trying to live a life that pleases our Heavenly Father.
So rather than criticize, let’s pray. Let’s encourage. Let’s support gospel expressions that speak to this generation in their own rhythm.
Haba!! some of us are still “saving the ark” and we are not even aware of it. May God help us all.
