This was sent to me, and I was asked if I think he overreacted by breaking up with her. Absolutely not. He told her his mom and aunt were visiting, he wasnโt ready for her to meet them, and repeatedly told her not to come over. Instead of respecting his boundary, she accused him of having another woman there, demanded pictures for proof, gave him five minutes to prove himself, showed up anyway, and even admitted to looking through his blinds. ๐ฉ
Having trust issues from a previous relationship does not give you permission to violate someone elseโs boundaries. Men are allowed to say NO too. If a man showed up at a womanโs house after repeatedly being told not to come and looked through her blinds, people would call it exactly what it is: predatory and crazy behavior. He saw the red flags four months in and walked away. I donโt blame him. Would you have ended it too?
