The 1st XI crushed Chestfield in their KCL match at The OCG yesterday.
OCC posted an imposing 332 - 7 in 45 overs, with Neil Scott 110 and Ryan Ward 45 key contributors.
Chestfield struggled after tea being dismissed for only 138, Sam Willis taking 4-30 and Nigel Stoodley 4-39,
Another win for the 1st XI dismissing Gore Court for 125, Two wickets each for Sam Willis, Dan Blakeburn, Nigel Stoodley and Ryan Ward.
OCC reached this in 24 overs losing only three wickets. Tom Miller (66) anchored the reply and Josiah Bongers hit the winning runs, as shown.
Big win for OCC 1stXI in the Kent Cricket League year day.
Tom Miller (85) and Tom Evans (90) led the way to victory, but a great all round team effort in a tight, high scoring match.
A huge opening partnership of 273 (John Olufawo 166*, Ryan Ward 87) saw OCC overwhelm Egerton in the KVL.
OCC bowlers then ripped into Egerton's batting with Ward (4), Dave Francis (3) and Sam Tucker (2) sharing the wickets.
OCC, after 2 matches, are top of their division.
The 2nd XI came up short against Harvel at The OCG.
Harvel amassed 232 after their 40 overs and despite a belligerent 61 by Gary Flint OCC finished 62 runs adrift.
