We recently hired an additional admin. I got her a thank you card and left it on her desk, and I'm hoping everyone will see it as they walk by and remember that they completely forgot it's Admin Prof Day. Forget passive aggressive, I'm about to get aggressive aggressive.

There has been some convo in the office whether I should follow up with those who have not shown up.

When I'm interviewing you for an admin position, you confirm via email & accept a calendar invite and then don't show up... I don't feel like you'd be much help to me at admin.

I LIKE being in the office but no one cheered louder than me when all the corporations who said "oh no, you can't do this job virtually" were shown well, actually, yes you can. Yay work/life balance! But it seems like people just don't know how to DO THIS anymore. #getoffmylawn

A CW "broke" the copy machine yesterday & then left an unsigned post-it on it apologizing. I didn't see said note until after 10AM today. Had to realign every drawer, pull one out, find a jam, and restart the copier twice.
