Around 86% of workers in the USA sit all day at work. The figure is very similar to the UK as 81% of workers sit all day. Alan Hedge, a design & ergonomics professor at Cornell, recommends changing positions every 8 minutes & take a 2-minute "moving break" at least twice an hour.
