A popular scripture, Jn 1:12, says:
"He gave them power to become the children of God."
It's been a regular request, but today's sermon gave me a different POV.
Loving people you've judged, disagreed with, or even resent?
That's a different conversation.
Suddenly, John 1:12 made more sense to me.
"He gave them power..."
Not advice.
Not motivation.
Power.
Because some parts of obedience are simply beyond human nature.
