Welcome to the UK, where Selfridges sells no fridges, Boots sells no boots, and Superdrug is not a drugstore .
Curry’s sells no curry, COS has nothing to do with offering COS, Mango doesn’t sell mangoes, and Subway has nothing to do with underground trains.
YouTubers talk shit about players and ex players daily. A footballer talks shit about a YouTuber there's think pieces and videos about a insult 🤣🤣 neeky world man
Only the BBC could devise a funding model where the solution to people not watching your programmes is to charge them for watching somebody else's.
Under this logic, every time I order a Domino's, I should send Pizza Hut £2.50 to support the future of British pizza.
🇦🇿 AZERBAIJAN: SCHOOLCHILDREN PROTEST AGAINST HIJAB RESTRICTIONS
Schoolchildren in Muslim-majority Azerbaijan are protesting and boycotting classes after girls wearing the hijab were turned away from schools.
Distressing footage has emerged of Muslim girls in tears after being denied entry to classrooms because of their headscarves.
The controversy follows new government regulations requiring school clothing to comply with "secular principles"
Although the rules do not explicitly ban the hijab, several schools have reportedly used them to exclude hijab-wearing pupils.
Students have responded by staging protests and refusing to attend lessons in solidarity with their classmates.
Hijab-wearing teachers have also reportedly been told to remove their headscarves or resign.
Azerbaijan is a strongly secular state despite being overwhelmingly Muslim-majority.
Decades of Soviet rule left a deeply secular legacy, while the government today keeps tight control over organised religion and Islamic institutions.
"It's an absolute honour."

I am a firm believer that you never truly know a person until you’ve experienced conflict with them. That’s when you see how they communicate, how they handle discomfort, and who they really are.
after a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. they ask simple questions, repeat stories, depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. very few understand this role reversal
