@FredTedOlga They truly are! Whenever I go to teddy bear fairs, they're usually one of the first types of bears that pique my interest, and I've been thinking about getting one of their bears whenever I see them being sold!

They started in 1984, when the founders Gary and Tina Lowenthal, who owned an antique shop, decided to venture into making antique replicas. Eventually, they started making teddy bears, similar to the one they made their son earlier.

What did you think was most interesting about Boyds Bears history?

Do you have any favorite Boyds Bears? My current favorites are the Christmas-themed bears they've produced, and I currently have the Boyds Bears "Sherlock and Watson...In Disguise" resin.
