We discussed about preparations to commence distribution of humanitarian support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre for persons affected by banditry in Zamfara State and Internally Displaced Persons affected by insurgency in Borno and Yobe States.

Today I received The Deputy Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Muhammed Ketso who paid a visit to the @nemanigeria Headquarters, Abuja.

During the visit, The Deputy Governor who is also the Chairman of Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) and myself discussed strategies to mitigate against flood this year and other areas of partnership that will improve response

families and loved ones of the deceased.

It's a sad day for the Nigerian Air Force family and indeed the entire Nation - AVM MA MUHAMMED (rtd)

I am deeply saddened by the loss of all lives onboard the @NigAirForce (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft that crashed today while out on special duties for the Nation.

May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. I am sending my sincere condolences & prayers to the

This week, I approved the promotion of 212 members of staff of @nemanigeria who were recommended for an upgrade following their successful performance in the recent promotion examinations conducted by both the Senior and Junior Staff Establishment Committees of the Agency.

I urge all the promoted and upgraded staff to justify their elevation with a greater commitment to their duties and actualising the mandates of the Agency. I also advise that you all consider your upgrade as a motivation to brace up and offer your best in the service to humanity
