It’s been three years since Mega Monza was held in Vicenza, Italy. This car was entered by the Webland 2000 team, Tommaso Melioli of PRS, finishing third overall and first in LMP2. Webland would go on to compete at the Le Mans 24h at Henley in Arden the following year. #prsslot

@DaVinciCapital @Scalextric Yes, several different systems work this way. But nobody use batteries when the rails are still there, the cars get their 12v directly from the rails. Prevents having to carry around heavy batteries, swap, or recharge them.

@SportsandGT Calculating the difference in lane length is not as wild as you might think! Simply double the distance between each lane, then multiply by Pi and you have your answer. Scalextric track has spacing of 80mm so 160 x Pi = 502.65mm difference between the lanes.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT📄
Due to the global impact of the COVID-19 virus and the substantial risks associated with proceeding with the 9th edition DiSCA Le Mans 24 hours, we have taken to the decision to cancel the event, scheduled to take place 4-5 April 2020. #DISCA24

Two points;
1) We expect to be able to refund the balance of race fee, less deposit. We will aim to do this before the end of April 2020. You may be contacted regarding your account details if you have used BACS, but hopefully this process will be straight forward as possible.
