Opening Remark by the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Ms. Abisola Olusanya
Ms. Abisola Olusanya commended the creativity and innovation of young people who see agriculture not as old-fashioned, but as the next great frontier.
She highlighted that the

This vision, she noted, is at the heart of this year’s theme: “Thriving Systems for a Smarter Future.”
The Honourable Commissioner called on all Lagosians, especially the young, dynamic, and energetic to join in building a community
Meet @aminatadebisii , Founder of @pemniawellness and the 1st place winner of the 2024 Farmers for the Future Grant cohort.
Her journey began as an NYSC project driven by a passion for food security and nutrition, and today Pemnia Wellness processes orange-fleshed sweet potato (OFSP) into nutritious, high-quality foods to tackle Vitamin A deficiency and reduce food loss.
At the 2025 Agribusiness Dialogue Session she exhibited alongside fellow agripreneurs, sharing her products and her story with our community.
At @BATNFoundation we believe in empowering young agripreneurs not just with grants but with mentorship, exposure and continued support and Adebisi’s win and her path forward are proof of what happens when passion meets opportunity.
