@QuatervoisVG To answer your question, SEA is no longer their concern for Esports because they can no longer compete with other mobile games such as ML, AoV, PUBG M, etc. They had to focus in NA/EU/EA where mobile games are not as popular as it is in SEA. 3/3
@QuatervoisVG In addition, over the past few years SEMC have build an ideology of "Vainglory is a HIGH QUALITY game for superior players." that eventually creates high expectation from the players to have a bigger Esports than other games. Basically it means, more costs 2/3
Mobile Legends Bang Bang have been confirmed as one of the official games for SEA Games 2019, Phillipines.
Vainglory (2017) should be eligible to be nominated, but I don't think the Vainglory now deserves to be.
SEMC needs to step up their game, if they still want to compete.
@IdmonfishV @QuatervoisVG I understand how it feels, but SEMC must have their reasons. But I'm the type who don't want to sit around and wait. I believe that we as a community can do something big, even bigger tournaments than VPL NA/EU.
@QuatervoisVG I still believe that SEMC is planning on something, it's just that we have to wait much longer. I'm assuming mid 2019 we can finally see Vainglory Esports back on track
@QuatervoisVG I believe that SEA VPL will be by per region. VPL PH and VPL INDO already started and SEMC only support ingame sponsorships. I hope you guys can try pitching for sponsors and run VPL by yourself instead of waiting, you can DM if you need any help finding sponsors.
