#SolidarityWithOwenJonesDay Every attack on Owen Jones by the right is an attack on us all & on our movement. He uses his platforms in Guardian, books & social media to call out the injustices of our political & economic system. That’s why they vilify him & why we stand with him.
Tough week for the city, so we all need to be ready to help as necessary going forward. Huge thanks to my family and friends for their donations to @SFoodbanks yesterday. Two SUV’s full of much-needed food for those who need a little extra help. #YNWA
Just had a chat with a friend I haven't seen since the election kicked off.
Me: Sorry been tied up...
Him: I don't like that JC
M: Why?
H: Terrorism and Commie
M: 2 peace prizes, manifesto is in line with Europe...
H: I don't know much about it, just what papers say

Conservative Mark Fletcher, who won Bolsover, is former Director of Comms for Synergix
Synergix is a Private Health Care firm that serves the NHS
Which means: The Beast of Bolsover & ex-miner, Dennis Skinner, lost his seat to a man who's previously worked to privatise the NHS.
Klopp in the Liverpool programme as part of Christmas message: ‘In a dressing room, you don’t look at someone and see colour, creed, sexuality or anything of that nature. You see a friend, a teammate, someone who you can help and someone who can help you.'
Tory Damian Green told LBC this morning; we need to move to a private insurance system to pay for healthcare in the UK.
How's the "NhS iSn'T fOr SaLe" line holding up for those who voted Tory? 🤦♂️
We're all #losers when that happens.
But "yay Brexit" right?
... improvise speeches in a second language.
But of course I apologise if anyone misunderstood this. I can not enough express the fact that I - as well as the entire school strike movement- are against any possible form of violence. It goes without saying but I say it anyway.
Yesterday I said we must hold our leaders accountable and unfortunately said “put them against the wall”. That’s Swenglish: “att ställa någon mot väggen” (to put someone against the wall) means to hold someone accountable.
That’s what happens when you... (1/2)
Corbyn has achieved three things, I think.
1. He's exposed how systematically rotten the country is, media, politics and all. Rotten to the core.
2. He's demonstrated that a decent, rational politician will never be allowed to take office in the UK.
3. He's opened a lot of eyes.
Our volunteers will be in sit u from 9.30. Can you pop a tin in your pocket and donate ?
It's a simple concept 50,000+ fans all donating a tin of food and not a single child goes to bed hungry over the festive period
