@JayXrp19 Hey Jay, you literally don’t have to worry about the D’CENT cold wallet, the recent hack only affected hot/app wallets, meanwhile, I’d implore you to split your assets in multiple wallets, nowhere is safe lately and you wouldn’t want to lose your entire life savings.

@Jase2151 @pumpius @XamanWallet Be wary of scammers, Xaman are strictly XRP wallet and nowhere is safe, the only to be safe a bit is splitting your assets across multiple wallets. Those in your comments asking you to DM are scammers.

@TatianaM8o @KalaniJon Your keys aren’t stored in the Tangem device, the Tangem card or ring is a seedless & keyless wallet. The password & the card are very important, the card has a chip just like the ATM card.

@KalaniJon Tangem is a cold wallet but has a seedless backup system, that is, it doesn’t require a seed phrase nor private keys to access, all you need is the card and a secure password, you cannot access your assets without the password and vice versa. Watch out for scammers

@geauxt17 Well it depends, as long as you’re haven’t imported your seed phrase into the app wallet, there’s D’CENT wallet in the apple or google App Store, and there’s the suite/interface for the hardware wallet. This is why I always implore D’CENT users to use a PC with their cold wallet.

@JohnConnor619 @AndreaCallo4 It’s not that easy setting up a cold wallet, although some are easy, just like Tangem. As an operation personnel, I’d suggest you consider Ledger Nano Gen 5 is the best and easiest Ledger cold wallet to set up because its entry-level is touchscreen.

@myfriendblondie Well the hack is real and it only affected the app wallets, if you’d use your keys on the D’CENT app wallet then you will be affected. Don’t think this is a marketing stunt, just take the right action and I advise crypto holders to always have multiple app/cold wallet.

@marlaktr do you perhaps encounter any problem with your Ledger, the D’CENT hack only affects hot/app wallets, don’t panic and always have your assets split to multiple wallets. Nowhere is 100% safe.
