My dad died around 4am. And the sun still came up. The cats still needed to be fed. Coffee needed to be made. A friend texted to see if I wanted to go thrifting. And I think it's kinda unfair that the rest of the world didn't stop too.
I wish I could explain how tiring it is to live inside a head that never fully rests. Even during happy moments, there are thoughts, never ending cycle
The scariest part of life isn't change. It's how fast Allah can flip everything. One night you're drowning in sin, the next morning you're rushing for Fajr. One month you're chasing dunya, the next you're begging Allah for Jannah. One year you feel unseen, the next you're surrounded by barakah you never imagined. Life doesn't move slow. Allah can turn your entire story with a single du'a.
may allah forgive every deceased muslim who passed away before ramadan reached them and grant them mercy, light, and peace in their graves. may he accept our prayers for them and reunite us in jannah where there is no more parting.
Being exhausted because of depression but can’t sleep because of anxiety is a special kind of torture that drains you silently while the world keeps demanding more.
Nobody prepares you for the fact that you will go through some of the most heart shattering experiences of your life and are still expected to show up for work. Take care of yourself. Pay your bills. Meet your goals. Just carry on… it’s awful
losing a parent at an age before you could properly give back to them adds a whole extra layer to grief
may Allah have mercy on our parents and allow us to be pleased with His decree 🤍
