Very honoured to share this Poem by Stella Nyanzi on this, her 45th Birthday. She wrote this and several other poems while in prison. Proof that you can't gag an idea whose time has arrived!

15 years ago, a friend arranged for me to meet the late Maj. Gen. Kazini. We had a very frank conversation- most of which was off the record. He showed me photos of him and other senior officers on an operation in Juba. Long before South Sudan’s independence.
Makes perfect sense if you ask me. Find somebody who's been battered & is lying in hospital receiving treatment, drag them from their hospital bed & pause their healing process, then yell at them & demand to know why they allowed themselves to get beaten. Makes perfect sense.
DRAKE aka champagne Puppy, You are needed in Uganda come 2021 and it won't be for a concert but for a picture with Museveni and a handshake. #ThatsAll#Drake

I had a nasty experience at the French Embassy two weeks ago. These guys have an over exaggerated view of what Europe is. Our Ministry of Foreign affairs needs to get involved. We should treat them the way they treat us. Reciprocate..#WAKEUPAFRICA
@TsheilaK These injustices should be spoken of even louder... The bueracratic and racist tendencies displayed not only at embassies but also at airports, foriegn places of work should be pinned 📢📢📢. All people irrespective of their races deserve equal treatment.
