After watching this apology video of Anulika Nwokike, the woman that abu+sed her children, I got even more provoked..

She said "Nigerans please forgive me, it is the hand work of devil, I have only made $300 from it.."

The woman is now begging Nigerans to forgive her..

Me: I know someone will definitely take the blames, ohh! Poor Devil was blamed for what she did..

Postpartum depression is saved today from taking blames.

If this woman wasn't exposed, trust me,she wouldn't have begged anyone to forgive her.

And why is she begging Nigerians???
Are Nigerians the children she and her husband abused????

The children are the ones she was supposed to beg.

I have been seeing this picture trending, and honestly, some of the reactions are disturbing.

People are looking at a father carrying or having his daughter on his lap and immediately attaching a sexual meaning to an ordinary father-daughter moment.

Why are we becoming so determined to sexualize everything?

A little girl sitting on her father’s lap shouldn’t automatically become something sinister.

A father carrying his daughter shouldn’t require an explanation. A child hugging her father, sleeping on his chest, holding his hand, sitting beside him or being carried around by him is normal parental affection.

Of course, if there is genuinely inappropriate behaviour, that’s a completely different conversation. Children must always be protected from abuse.

But we shouldn’t create a society where innocent affection between fathers and daughters is viewed with suspicion simply because adults have sexualized the image in their own minds.

Not every physical interaction is sexual. Sometimes a father is simply being a father.

Let’s protect children from abuse without teaching society to see abuse where there is nothing to suggest it.

A child’s innocence shouldn’t be destroyed by an adult’s imagination.
