My beloved brethren, I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Today, I write with tears in my eyes and a pain in my heart that words cannot fully explain.
I have buried people I loved. Members of my own family have been killed. Church members who worshipped with us, prayed with us and served God with us have been taken away from this world. People who woke up in the morning expecting to return to their families never came home.
And I keep asking myself...
What is our crime?
What have we done to deserve this?
Who have we offended?
What is the gain in all these killings?
Why should a child lose a father simply because that father professed Christ? Why should a mother bury her children? Why should widows and orphans be created again and again while the world watches?
My beloved, Christians are not asking for the death of anyone. We are asking for the right to live. We are asking for the right to worship God without fear. We are asking for our children to grow up, go to school, return home safely and praise God.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:10, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
If our faith is the reason we are hated, then we will continue to hold on to Christ.
But I ask those who are killing innocent people: What do you gain when you destroy a family? What do you gain when you turn children into orphans? What do you gain when you make a mother cry over the body of her son?
Can blood build a better nation?
Can the tears of widows bring peace?
Can the graves of innocent people give anyone victory?
The Bible says in Romans 12:15, “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.”
So I mourn.
I mourn for my family.
I mourn for my church members.
I mourn for every innocent Christian who has been killed.
I mourn for every widow who now sleeps alone.
I mourn for every child who asks, “Where is my father?”
And I mourn for Nigeria.
But even through my tears, I will not abandon Christ.
The Bible says in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Lord, draw near to every broken family.
Lord, comfort every widow.
Lord, wipe the tears of every orphan.
Lord, protect those who are still living in fear.
And Lord, give wisdom and courage to those entrusted with protecting innocent lives.
We do not want revenge. We want justice. We want peace. We want a Nigeria where Christians and Muslims can live together, worship God according to their conscience, raise their children and sleep without fear.
My beloved Nigerians, how many more graves must we see before our hearts are broken enough to cry out together?
How many more mothers must we comfort?
How many more children must become orphans?
How many more churches must bury their members?
How many more families must disappear before we say, “Enough”?
I may be tired, I may be wounded, and I may have lost people I love, but I will continue to speak for the innocent.
Because silence cannot bring back the dead.
And fear will not make me deny my Lord.
As Jesus said in John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
May God remember every family that has lost someone.
May God heal Nigeria.
May God protect His people.
May God bring an end to the bloodshed.
And may the day come when Nigerian children no longer grow up knowing the sound of gunfire, but only the sound of laughter, worship and peace.
I remain your brother in Christ,
Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo
Integrity doesn’t have to be loud. Just consistent. Over time, it will tell you everything you need to know about...
A person.
A ministry.
A business.
A legacy.
Lord, give us the grace to have….integrity. 🙏🏽
@SaharaReporters aside from the fact that we are in election season,
Wearing that cloth is a peaceful protest..
Fear mongering by this DICTATORSHIP" disguised as a democracy will be vehemently resisted because "TINUBU MUST GO"
@KR3Wmatic Now, here's the Point. God created all Humans and gave them Language. Language is no Barrier to Jesus. He speaks and hears all Languages. So, be it a Kanuri or a Fulani, Yoruba or Efik, when they speak and refer to YAHWEH in whatever dialect God hears and responds...
@KR3Wmatic Now, I'll get there!!! God is Spirit and He has said that they that worship Him will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. He says, "the Words that I speak, they are Spirit and they are Life". He says unless a Man be born again and inhabited by the Holys Spirit, he cannot see God..
@Aybeeiy_Fx@masskeemz One more thing. In Jesus mighty Name and Amen, I pray Christ finds you, heals you and gives you His Salvation because there is Hell and you're showing that you're choosing to go there... Love and Christ... 💟
@Aybeeiy_Fx@masskeemz It's a good thing we have People like you speaking out and showing what is in the depths of their Heart. I hope all that comes to meet and know you see and flee from the darkness within you. I can't even imagine the other kinds of darkness a Person like you births and is yet to..
The Christians of Nigeria have been pushed to the brink, as Islamic terrorists come into their communities night after night with murder in their hearts & slaughter men, women & children, They are protesting here because the army does not help them. For more then 20 years since the first rural village was attacked, the govt of Nigeria has done little or worse: sometimes their leaders collaborate with the killers & stand by while women & children are hacked or burned alive. If the Christian villlagers arm themselves to defend their families, they are arrested & charged as vigilantes because there are no gun rights in Nigeria. So these people wait in their homes for terror to come to their doors. Their churches are burned down, their pastors tortured & killed, yet amidst the ruins they rise, their faith stronger than ever. Christ lives in their hearts, he rises in their pain & he echoes in their voices. God is good. Comfort these brave people, pray for them & speak for them. Those who deny this genocide are as vile as those coming to their humble homes to slaughter the innocent. They carry the black flag of al Qaeda & scream “Allahu akbar” as they maim & murder, while the left & the globalists provide cover for them & deny the truth. Sound familiar? It should. Same playbook, same people.
@seanfeucht “In the last days terrible times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good” 2 Timothy 3
This 🇳🇬 Nigerian pastor has seen to much for him to try to be politically correct
The pain he has from the christians he buries every month cannot allow him to play the "Let me not offend" game
700 BILLION DOLLARS: TINUBU FINALLY SOLD NIGERIA, TO PROTECT HIS CRIMINAL PAST IN AMERICA
When we say no Nigerian deserves to be poor, this is just further proof.
No Nation with Solid Minerals worth over $700 billion has any business with Poverty.
We are not even talking about oil and gas or the vast agricultural potential; it is a sacrilege that Nigeria and poverty are in the same sentence.🤦🏾♂️
APC has to Kpai, or we will never leave the Trenches!
From Christ commanding demons to flee, to Moses receiving the Ten Commandments, Noah building the Ark, and Elijah carried into heaven in a whirlwind—God has shown His power through the ages. ✝️ His miracles still call us to believe. Do you believe? YES or NO? 🙏
