A case of the old impotence struck us as we tackle a classic but end up just praising “the perfect 40 year old” in Gene Hackman. @MarkHarrisNYC probably covered everything #bonnieandclyde but this is our podcast: https://t.co/HrEkGLhhvL
@ellariasnake It was perhaps unfairly maligned (but likely not) as I kept using it sight unseen as a counterpoint to the strikingly traditional Last Voyage of the Demeter. Now curiosity drives me to finally give Dracula 2000 its due. On my deathbed I may look at my Letterboxd diary and weep.
Audrey Hepburn is terrorized for the amusement of @darnthatdave & Alan Arkin (two peas in a pod as we’ve always known) and @projectingfilm is obsessed with an icebox as Helm’s Deep in #waituntildark. Next week will be a better housewarming gift. Probably. https://t.co/YZKJ9PbV59
Unfortunately @darnthatdave of @offscreendeath returns to the show but more importantly Kim Basinger arrives in our Bat-minute (1989 of course) as we talk an affection for bats and #bramstokersdracula. But not so much Winona Ryder. That’s next week! Maybe. https://t.co/khszQB2Hmy
@darnthatdave Watched Away We Go last spring while my wife was pregnant and it was one of my favorite pregnancy movies out of the 10 we made it through.
