I get the idea, but I think it solves one problem by bringing back another.

We don’t want a marketplace where historical success guarantees future visibility. We’d rather build one where creators have to keep earning their place by shipping great resources, improving them, building an audience around them, and continuing to generate demand.

That’s ultimately a much healthier ecosystem. The marketplace should reward the resources that are creating value today, not just the ones that were successful yesterday.

@sekhsoyebali Historical data was nice to see at first but it gets older real quick. All four marketplace feeds are based on recency, and the official tracker has everything you need. So the only thing creators have to worry about is keep pushing harder.

@_CalMorris I'm trying to add Style categories to my template since multiple category selections were removed, but it says "max 8 categories allowed."

- ai slops
- copycats
- relaunches
- multiple listings

Framer updates all these feeds hourly. To save resources, we have following schedule:

Trending: every 5 hours
Best Last Month / Quarter / Recent: every 24 hours

Even the marketplace itself can’t keep up. Server rendered and client rendered rankings were out of sync at some point (now fixed).
