Anyone else notice whenever ebay's search doesn't know what you are talking about, the results default to random car parts? It doesn't even have to be complicated. I searched bucket hats and that was apparently too overstimulating for it.

...because I make the food myself. All these groups are run by these Etsy sellers, who have people who comment on every post recommending the same foods. IMO all these hermit foods are contaminated and you should stay clear of them. Make your own, it's not hard, they do. 3/3

70% of the posts I see on hermit crab Facebook groups are complaining about bugs in the tank that aren't supposed to be there. The comments are like "yeah that just happens" or "they're springtails" when they aren't. Yet they all buy food off Etsy. I see a pattern. 1/3

Many of the Etsy foods for hermits, especially the foraging items, require you freeze them for a week to kill off mites/eggs. You know what? Maybe stop buying food from others that you don't know their sources. Because you shouldn't have to do this. I never have problems... 2/3
