James Reimer and Eric and Jordan Staal are not being asked to endorse, support, condone or participate in anything. Not one thing. They're being asked to wear a sweater for 15 minutes when the arena is half full to make LGTBQ people feel welcomed and safe. And they can't do that.
@Sheng_Peng Idk it's pretty quiet? There's one short "let's go yotes" chant and then they cheer for a goal. But then again I'm used to SHL and think all NHL games are too quiet

So to catch up:
- The head coach wasn't consulted.
- The players are against it.
- Miller isn't eligible to play in the NHL.
- Miller isn't eligible to play in the AHL.
- The Bruins never consulted the league.
- The Bruins never talked to the victim or his family.

- bruins clearly think/thought that they were trading a couple days of uncomfortable PR for a good prospect
- miller still seems to show zero signs that he considers any of this to be anything other than a pain in the ass he has to get through to be a pro hockey player
It now seems pretty clear that the Bruins’ “evaluation period” for the Mitchell Miller signing consisted entirely of asking him for his side of the story, accepting it completely, assuming everyone else would too, and then bailing as soon as it became clear that wasn't the case.
