Once Rafflev2 is live I am thinking about putting together an open source development roadmap proposal for runes on lightning.
Create an open settlement and liquidity layer for censorship resistant stablecoin movement across ecosystems using Bitcoin and Lightning as the transport layer.
Prefer runes to taproot assets as they are more connected to bitcoin L1. So far mostly just cartoons but a unique token standard nonetheless. I guess most token standards are just carrying cartoons in the end. Is what it is.
RaffleV2 was designed as a multi-chain system from day one.
It combines Ergo's native smart contract capabilities with Bitcoin's massive liquidity and user base through a sophisticated off-chain integration.
First Basis note transferred off the grid. We need for some more testing. Then doing blueprints for use cases like African villages. Another direction is agent-2-agent interactions with credit expansion on top of human-provided base smart money.
P2P money for humans & agents
Time To Finality (TTF) is IMO one of the most relevant metrics when comparing real settlement speed across blockchains.
And it's honestly hard to do much better than @Algorand (along with a few others), because its finality is instant!
A transaction isn't truly settled until it's final, irreversible, and no longer exposed to rollback or fork uncertainty.
Actually, very fast block times mean little if you still need to wait multiple rounds, extra confirmations, or sometimes even minutes to hours before being sure your transaction is actually final!
Once a transaction is added to a block on $ALGO, it's immediately confirmed and irreversible. No rollback risk, no fork uncertainty, no waiting around wondering if it's really settled.
That's maybe not always obvious in web3, but for so many real world use cases, it really matters! 🫡
"If quantum computers start breaking cryptography a few years from now, don't you dare come to this blog and tell me that I failed to warn you. This post is your warning."
Newly elected member of the US National Academy of Sciences and quantum computing professor Scott Aaronson, writing on his blog today.
Google and Coinbase, amongst many others, have recognised Algorand's leading post-quantum work.
Our Chief Scientific Officer @ChrisPeikert helped create Falcon, a cryptographic algorithm selected by NIST as a global standard for quantum resistance, which we run in production on Algorand today.
Quantum-secure chain history since 2022. Quantum-secure transactions and accounts since 2025.
We heard the warning years ago.
"Crypto" got co-opted by banksters due to inability to pave the way for trust-minimized monetary expansion on top of trust-minimized digital commodities. Ergo has no any competition here.
Raffle v2
Designed direct bitcoin payment for ergo raffle. The implementation for btc-payment service is in progress.
The basic structure is implemented.
Redesigned action proxy contracts to have a unique proxy address for each action. The required data is encoded in proxy box registers.
Rosen-bridge/rosen-sdk
evm chains integrated into rosen-sdk and the PR is under review
The latest network to integrate is bitcoin-runes, which is currently under development.
Rosen-bridge/rosen-service
Now we support bitcoin-runes in the new rose-service structure.
New rosen-service implementation is completed and will be used after passing the test stages.
Rosen-bridge/utils
Added a new class to rwt-repo package to read and manage data from repo-config box.,
Rosen-bridge/watcher-service-v2
Working on permit transaction package. Its responsible for generating lock and unlock transactions.
Excited to see @PeraAlgoWallet go live with XO Swap integration.
Users can now move assets from other chains into @Algorand in one flow. No manual bridging. No juggling tools.
We tokenized @Exodus on Algorand because we believed in the ecosystem. Partnerships like this reinforce why: simplifying how value actually moves, removing unnecessary steps.
Latest @RosenBridge_erg
- initial investigation of Base integration
- ongoing development of on chain token map
- working on test env in general and for handshake and firo especially
- planning with how to move forward with handshake merges and tests
- a lot of small tasks for event detail page, back and ui
- old and continuous task, building a better watcher service, v2
Rosen Runes+ can move any asset supported into and out of Bitcoin L1.
All while protecting supply integrity and openly giving proof of no rehypothecation.
It implements some nice properties simultaneously:
- Fully on-chain visible and indexer-friendly (like plain Runes/Omni).
- Natively multi-chain with 1:1 locked backing and an open source distributed security model.
- Continuously, redundantly, and openly auditable in real time (stronger than RGB/Taproot Assets proofs).

Still should wait for full-chain membership proofs it seems, but basic foundation is there.
It’s funny to imagine we can bridge Monero to Bitcoin.
