Last year, among the first teams out of the NCAA Tournament were:
* An Indiana team that finished with 13 losses, including losing 8 of 10 at one point in the season
* A Nebraska team that *didn't qualify for the Big Ten Tourney*
Both would be in a 76-team NCAA Tourney
In a world that's divided on pretty much everything - NCAA Tournament expansion is pretty much the *one thing* everyone agrees is a terrible idea
All of the baseball rule changes make sense during the season but they need to scrap them for playoffs. Yankees/Red Sox should be the most stressful 4.5 hours possible. Instead it’s the 5th inning after an hour.
Wofford MBB situation:
• 6 players enroll in upperclass housing
• school places them in underclass housing
• Coach helps students rent off campus
• kids continue using “on campus” meal plan
(Oh no! End of the world!)
• Wofford fires coach
• the 6 players get suspended
• kids want coach reinstated
• kids could all transfer putting Wofford season in doubt.
A program that was IN THE NCAAT 6 months ago. Hilariously embarrassing to make this an issue.
