En el Mundial de EEUU, la marca de desodorante Rexona, propiedad de la multinacional Unilever, quién hizo fortuna con el colonialismo belga en el Congo, contrató al aficionado que imitaba a Lumumba para hacerle publicidad.

Primero asesinan a Lumumba y luego lo mercantilizan, así es el capitalismo, intentando apropiarse de todas las luchas y todos los personajes históricos que dieron su vida por la libertad, en un intento de emborronar su imagen y que se convierta en una marca vendible.

El origen criminal de Unilever (Rexona) viene de la empresa Lever Brothers (quién en 1930 se convertiría en Unilever) y su fundador William Lever, el cual saqueó el aceite de palma durante la época colonial en el Congo durante décadas a través de la Compañía de Aceites del Congo Belga, usando a esclavos negros que eran azotados si no cumplían con su cuota diaria de recolección.

Tras la llegada al poder de Patrice Lumumba en 1960, quién quería una verdadera independencia en el Congo sin que el imperialismo siguiera saqueando sus recursos... la empresa presionó al gobierno belga para que acabase con Lumumba y poder seguir saqueando el Congo masivamente.

En 1961, tras torturar, descuartizar y disolver en ácido a Lumumba e imponer al dictador Mobutu, Unilever se aseguró el saqueo del Congo durante muchas décadas, incluso después de su muerte, hasta 2009, siguieron parasitando el aceite de palma congoleño.

Hay que decir que Unilever hoy no solo tiene Rexona, es una de las mas grandes empresas de alimentación y consumo con marcas como Magnun, Cornetto, Ben & Jerry, Knorr, AXE, Dove...
