Conference Alert! Well done #acep20 @ACEPnow - you have shucked off your undeserved reputation of being "scientific" and "evidence based". We are a UK regulator but you can be a US associate member of the the premier quackery watchdog for just $100, like anyone else. Let us know!
Accreditatiton Alert! Regulators' regulator @prof_standards want to hear your experiences with inexplicably accredited spoof "regulator" CNHC.
(We offered to accredit the PSA for our flat fee of £65, but we didn't hear back from them for some reason. )

The @CNHC_UK will be assessed for reaccreditation. By sharing your experience with the register by 13 August, your voice can be taken into account: https://t.co/hb53S5yUpu
April Fool Alert! This image is quite convincing, so much so that it nearly caught us. But the giveaway is first implying tough enforcement of protection for the public against ineffective quack medicines, and then using an image of an obvious spoof regulator! Hilarious!
Virus Alert! Although we regulate anything for £65, we draw the line at endangering people. So, unlike spoof "regulator" @CNHC_UK, we're explicitly telling our registrants not to claim that anything they do is effective against Covid-19. (Except possibly the soap in their sinks.)
Regulator Alert! As a proper regulator (who will still regulate you, no questions asked, for £65), we wouldn't stoop to publishing puff pieces to promote the very people we're supposed to be regulating.
Spoof regulators, on the other hand...
https://t.co/G7PeDSji25
Funding Alert! The government's Personal Health Budget prises control of funds from trained and informed doctors, and puts it into the hands of exploitable patients, where it belongs.
Even spoof "regulator" CNHC can the opportunities...

Branding Alert! Worried that your brand has been tarnished by "skeptics" unduly focusing on "evidence" and "harmful advice"? Do what #WDDTY magazine did - rebrand bland! Same magazine, same OfQuack-approved contents, new blandtastic name: "Get Well" magazine. Look out for it!
Brexit Alert! Brexit affords all OfQuack registrants an ideal opportunity to make a difference.
No insulin? Try acupuncture on your pancreas meridian!
No radioisotopes for a CAT scan? Try iridology!
Think Brexit is a good idea? Try percussive cranial xylotherapy!
Supermarket Alert! If you have a magazine that's anti-vaxx, anti-pharma, and anti-science, most places won't sell it. But don't worry - @sainsburys has your back! They don't care what's in the magazines they sell as long as they profit - perhaps they should register with us!
@sean_t_ellis We've taken on board the concerns raised regarding this, however, we continue to stock it as we offer a selection of magazines to our customers and there are some who choose to purchase it. While we stock this, we don’t necessarily support the contents of any publication. Danny
Regulation Alert! We agree - and we're the ones to do it. Rainbow Reiki, Electropressure, Percussive Cranial Xylotherapy, and many more . We will regulate you for a flat fee of £45! No questions asked.
Press Alert! Spoof regulator CNHC gets excited about featuring in the press. We don't need "advertorials" - all our registrants get our cast iron guarantee: we will regulate you, no questions asked, for £45. (Price frozen since day 1! Nearly at our one-year registration target!)
Did you see that CNHC was featured in 3 national publications in January? Take a look at our adverts in The Guardian and the Evening Standard, plus our advertorial in the Daily Mirror here: https://t.co/o1zOBMrRmy
Recognition Alert! That took ages - if they'd registered with OfQuack they'd have been recognised immediately, no questions asked, and still for the low price of £45. https://t.co/EGlwPk3um6
McTimoney College has been awarded full European (ECCE) accreditation across both chiropractic programmes! This means that students now have greater portability of their qualifications if they choose to work outside of the UK! #mctimoney
Brexit Alert! Worried about the Irish Border question? Worry no more. We have obtained a genuine piece of a 1970s border checkpoint and our trained #homeopathy consultants are diluting it at the moment. Guaranteed 100% as effective as https://t.co/9I0xU0IWC3
Tech Alert! Critics of sCAM medicine often say it's not backed by science. Well, "skeptics", take a look at https://t.co/XGfaIi5rUX which has circuit diagrams and ADC chips and stuff, to convert homeopathy into .WAV files. Science!
Compliance Alert! A very quick check of 3 local CNHC registrants showed 2 in breach of basic ASA guidelines, which is a breach of the CNHC code of conduct. No such problem with OfQuack as we don't have one.
Opportunity Alert! OfQuack registrants may be interested in this handy list of private UK healthcare providers who are prepared to pay real £££ for unproven treatments. https://t.co/Yd6G61cH3V
Update Alert! Spoof regulator CNHC updated their Code of Practice for registrants and hilariously forgot to remove "[Care] must be based on the best available research evidence" again. https://t.co/SOPZGizETh
We applaud @POTUS for learning from OfQuack's therapeutic-touch regulatory model and applying it to the FDA and EPA. Regulation is much, much easier our way.
Now that the Right to Try legislation is in place, the US office of OfQuack can now take over from the FDA and regulate your drug/device/treatment for the low price of $59, no questions asked.
A step towards a cure for cancer (which would eat into Big Pharma profits) and it's done with vaccines? We're not falling for that one... https://t.co/HRG0C47ynW
