@jolieinconnu Oblivious to the fact that he was already starving, but he didn’t try to protest because he knew they both knew he wasn’t very good at taking care of himself.

He just let her carry on preparing for the class while he continued writing out the ingredients for next week’s potion.

Starving, day number two of no sleep. But he’s got essays to grade and lessons to plan.

@jolieinconnu Frowning at her response, he began writing up the lesson plan for the first years Monday morning class. “I won’t be hungry later either.”

@jolieinconnu A grateful smile as he took the bag but he knew he’d get too distracted to consume it. “I appreciate the gesture, Miss rosier; but I’m not hungry.”

@jolieinconnu “Then the class is all yours, I’ll stay to supervise but I also need to plan next week’s classes.” He hummed, oblivious to his stomach demanding food.

@jolieinconnu Leaning back once she took that particular stress off his hands, he smiled and closed his eyes for a few moments to clear his mind.

@jolieinconnu He just buried his face into her skin and closed his eyes. Sighing heavily as he clung to her. “She’s never going to see us give her grandchildren, or get married . .”

@jolieinconnu He’s silently handing her the letter. “You know I’m quite older than you, and my mother even much older than that. We weren’t close, especially after I wrote to inform them of my having fallen in love with a student. Her heart gave out three months ago and they never told me . .”

@jolieinconnu She’ll find him in the living room, his hands shaking as he stared at the letter in his hands. Disbelief on his face.
