there’s a blink. and then another blink. then a nod of his head, surprise moving over his features. before a grin.

his eyes shift for a moment, another contemplative hum slipping.

"a. . . squirrel?"

head tilting to the side, enjoying watching him think. watching the wheels turn on the ideas.
