O Allāh, on this blessed Friday in the sacred month of Muḥarram, just as You saved Mūsā عليه السلام and his people from oppression, rescue our oppressed brothers and sisters wherever they may be. Ya Rabb, Protector of the weak, grant them relief, strength, and victory. Inspire us through the courage of Mūsā عليه السلام and the steadfastness of al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī رضي الله عنه. Allah says in the Qur’an: “Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Surah Ash-Sharh 94:6)
History has shown that whenever a person is committed to truth, excellence, and meaningful progress, they may face trials, opposition, and false accusations. But Allah is the Best of Planners, and He grants victory to those who remain steadfast.
Every challenge is a reminder that no test is greater than the protection and mercy of Allah. What is built on integrity, sincerity, and service will always endure.
May Allah continue to guide, protect, and strengthen all those who work for the good of humanity. Ameen.

The engagement provided a strong platform to highlight ongoing efforts at the Energy Commission of Nigeria towards expanding access to clean, reliable, and sustainable energy, with particular emphasis on solarisation and innovation-driven solutions.
It was also a valuable opportunity to engage with policymakers, development partners, and investors on how energy remains central to economic growth, regional integration, and the delivery of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Grateful for the recognition and the continued opportunity to serve in advancing Nigeria’s energy transformation and shared prosperity across the sub-region.

Yesterday, I visited the Orashi Power Plant in Imo State, and I must say this project stands out as a powerful demonstration of visionary, technically informed, and future-facing leadership.
What I saw on the ground reflects more than infrastructure; it reflects clarity of thought, policy intelligence, and deliberate execution. Imo State, under the leadership of His Excellency Senator @Hope_Uzodimma1, is not merely aligning with Nigeria’s power sector reforms; it is taking the lead.
Governor Uzodimma has shown an uncommon depth of understanding of the electricity value chain and an exceptional ability to translate the reforms championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, particularly the Electricity Act, into tangible, working solutions for the people. This is decentralisation in action.
As Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and a committed Renewed Hope Ambassador, the Governor stepped forward decisively after the President’s historic assent to the Act, positioning Imo State at the forefront of state-led power generation. This is leadership that creates momentum rather than waits for it.
From a professional standpoint, as an engineer and technocrat with over a decade of experience in energy systems and infrastructure, the Orashi Power Plant is impressive. Its advanced control systems, smart operational architecture, intelligent metering framework, and innovation-driven design reflect global best practices and a clear understanding of where the power sector is headed.
This is not analogue thinking in a digital era. It is a smart, forward-looking investment built for efficiency, accountability, reliability, and sustainability.
I commend Governor Hope Uzodimma, the “Governor General,” for this excellent work. Imo State has delivered a model project and has unmistakably taken the lead in state-level power generation in Nigeria.
At the Energy Commission of Nigeria, we remain committed to supporting states that demonstrate vision, competence, and seriousness of purpose. I make bold to say that the Orashi Power Plant stands as compelling proof of what is possible when leadership, knowledge, and national reform converge.
