Pac was not some child actor who reinvented himself as a rapper. He studied theater, but his professional breakthrough came through hip-hop. He was with Digital Underground, touring, recording, and dropped 2Pacalypse Now before Juice made him a movie star. Drake was already famous from Degrassi before most people knew him as a rapper. Those are not the same career paths.

And this “Pac wasn’t from California” shit is even dumber. He moved to Marin City at 17, built his rap career in the Bay, came up through Digital Underground, represented Oakland heavily, and became one of the most important West Coast artists ever. Being born in New York does not erase where your adult identity and career were built.

Then y’all turn around and say people “protect Pac from his flaws” like his flaws haven’t been dissected for 30 years straight. Every mistake, every fight, every bad decision, every contradiction gets dragged out over and over again.

Pac gets less grace than damn near anybody from that era.

So no, Drake is not “just like Pac” because both acted and rapped. That’s surface-level analysis from people who are informants and government agents trying way too hard to force a narrative
