Spencer Pratt is right.
This is exactly what we're watching happen in New York City.
When you cap what property owners can charge while taxes, insurance, maintenance, utilities, and repair costs continue to rise, you don't magically make housing more affordable. You make it harder—and eventually impossible—for people to provide housing.
The result? Fewer rental properties, less investment, deteriorating buildings, and an even tighter housing market.
You can't solve an affordability crisis by pretending costs don't exist. Economics doesn't care about political slogans.
NYC wanted this. But then again ... these are the same people that voted in a muslim as mayor after what happened on 9/11. They aren't too smart... are they ?
Tom Emmer: "I don’t really care where you come from, but if you come to this great country, you have to understand you’re coming here to be an American."
President Trump is now calling communists the greatest threat to America in 250 years.
He’s absolutely right.
America could never be defeated militarily - we have the best troops, the most advanced weapons, and the most heavily armed citizenry in human history.
Our adversaries know this, so they try to divide and weaken us from within with extreme leftist political movements.
Our defenses must now face inward towards these hostile threats.
Time to use the same tactics they used on J6ers and send FBI SWAT teams to round em up.
Equal justice, right?
@timburchett Our Founding Fathers signed their own death warrants when they signed The Declaration of Independence 250 yrs ago. @LeaderJohnThune & @SenateGOP are going home on vacation when we need them the most. Absolutely anti-American...shame on every one of them! @VP@POTUS
