Since it's mental health day, I am done hiding my story and situation.

I never thought I’d have to ask for help like this.

I grew up in a house that didn’t feel safe. My father’s anger shaped a lot of my childhood. I promised myself I wouldn’t let that define me. I worked hard, bought my own car, and started building a life that finally felt like mine — school, work, independence.

Then my father took the car without permission and totaled it. No compensation. Just gone.

I’m still trying. Still in school. Still working. Still choosing to move forward instead of letting the past decide who I become. But I need a reliable car to keep doing that.
